Tilburg Chess Notes publishes annotated games from our local chess community. If you play at De Stukkenjagers, we'd be glad to feature one of yours.
What we publish
Games from club play: the internal competition, rated games, and club tournaments. We don't publish online or casual games — Tilburg Chess Notes is about chess played over the board, here.
How to send a game
Send us the game as a PGN. That can be an export from a lichess study or the chess.com analysis board, a ChessBase file, or simply the moves written out — even a clear photo of your scoresheet works. If you've already annotated it, wonderful; if not, leave the notes to us and we'll work them up together. A sentence or two helps: what you were thinking, the moment it turned, what you took from it.
You can annotate in Dutch or English, whichever you prefer — or leave the notes to us. The page around your game appears in both languages either way.
A word on club games
If the game was against another club member, please check with them first that they're happy to see it published. It needn't be formal — a quick word is enough. An annotated game shows both sides, the losing one included, and a heads-up keeps the club a friendly place. If your opponent would rather not appear by name, let us know and we'll leave the name off, or hold the game.
Young players
If either player in the game is under 18, we publish only after written consent from a parent or guardian, sent by email. For young players we publish the game and first name only — no personal details — and comments stay limited to signed-in members, which we moderate.

Wat we publiceren
Partijen uit clubverband: de interne competitie, ratingpartijen en clubtoernooien. We publiceren geen online- of vrije partijen — Tilburg Chess Notes gaat over schaken achter het bord, hier.
Hoe stuur je een partij in
Stuur ons de partij als PGN. Dat kan een export zijn uit een lichess-studie of het analysebord van chess.com, een ChessBase-bestand, of gewoon de zetten uitgeschreven — desnoods een duidelijke foto van je notatieformulier. Heb je hem al geannoteerd, prachtig; zo niet, laat de aantekeningen aan ons over en werken we ze samen uit. Een paar zinnen helpen: waar je aan dacht, het moment waarop het kantelde, wat je eruit meenam.
Je mag in het Nederlands of Engels annoteren, wat je het prettigst vindt — of laat de aantekeningen aan ons over. De tekst rond je partij verschijnt sowieso in beide talen.
Een woord over clubpartijen
Was de partij tegen een ander clublid, overleg dan eerst even of hij of zij het goedvindt dat we hem publiceren. Het hoeft niet formeel — een kort berichtje volstaat. Een becommentarieerde partij laat beide kanten zien, de verliezende inbegrepen, en zo houden we de club een prettige plek. Wil je tegenstander liever niet met naam verschijnen, laat het ons weten — dan laten we de naam weg, of houden we de partij terug.
Jeugdspelers
Als een van beide spelers jonger is dan 18, publiceren we pas na schriftelijke toestemming van een ouder of verzorger, per e-mail. Van jeugdspelers tonen we alleen de partij en de voornaam — geen persoonlijke gegevens — en reacties blijven beperkt tot ingelogde leden, die we modereren.
